AI assistants love to answer with a React component: a .jsx or .tsx file that looks great in their preview and does nothing when you download it. Opening it shows code; running it normally means installing Node, creating a project and wiring up Tailwind. This viewer does that in your browser: drop the file or paste the code, and it is compiled and rendered in an isolated frame with React 18, Tailwind classes and lucide icons available.
It works on phones, which is where most people first open the file. Download the rendered page as a standalone HTML file to keep or share.
How to view a JSX file
- 1
Save the file the assistant gave you
Or copy the code from the chat.
- 2
Drop it here or paste it
Both
.jsxand.tsxwork. TypeScript types are stripped automatically. - 3
Use it
Buttons, state and forms work. Errors appear at the top of the frame in plain words. Use “Taller” for full-page layouts.
- 4
Download as HTML
Get a single HTML file that renders the component anywhere, no build step.
What is inside the file
The viewer rewrites the file’s import lines to point at libraries loaded in the frame: React, ReactDOM, lucide-react and Recharts are real. Imports from UI kits such as @/components/ui/button or framer-motion are replaced with plain elements so the layout still appears. Babel compiles JSX and TypeScript in the browser, then the default export is mounted. Everything runs inside a sandboxed iframe that cannot read this page, your cookies or your files.
What you get
- The component rendered and interactive
- Clear error messages when something in the file cannot run
- A standalone HTML download of the rendered page
Limits to know about
- Components that need a backend, a database or a specific npm package will render partially: unknown packages are stubbed, so their parts show as plain boxes.
- Multiple-file projects are not supported; the file must be self-contained, which AI-generated components usually are.
- The frame loads React and Babel from public CDNs, so it needs an internet connection the first time.
Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. The file is read on your device by a background script, the result is built on your device, and nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can load this page, turn off your internet connection and the tool keeps working. There is no account and no quota.
Questions
How do I open a JSX file Claude gave me?
Save the file, open this page, and drop it on the box, or paste the code. It renders in a moment. On a phone, use the paste option.
What is a .jsx file?
A JavaScript file containing JSX, the HTML-like syntax React uses to describe interfaces. Browsers cannot run JSX directly; it must be compiled, which this page does for you.
My component uses shadcn/ui or framer-motion. Will it work?
The structure and text render, because those imports are replaced with plain elements. Styling specific to those libraries, and animations, will not appear.
Is my code uploaded?
No. Compilation and rendering happen in your browser inside an isolated frame. The code is not sent to us.
Is it safe to run a file I did not write?
The frame is sandboxed: it has no access to this page, your cookies, local files or other tabs. It can still make network requests of its own, so treat code from unknown sources with the usual care.
